Transit & Transition new works by Artist Johnathan Ball

J Ball collaborates with Designer 321b Flooring to create this one of a kind hand made bamboo area rug. The image Bubo Scandiacus from the show Flights of Fancy was chosen after much deliberation. The original oil painting sold in 2018 is one of Johnathan’s most iconic works. Its inspiration is rooted in Johnathans mixed cultural heritage. “We wanted an image that would grab your attention as a whole but also have interesting moments when viewed in pieces close up” said Johnathan.

The Scandiacus rug will be on display at Liss Gallery Oct. 30-Nov. 20th 2020.
